Detailed Problem Description
(Include Screen Shots if required )
In Sales Order client wanted to change the grid value for which the order is completed, goods issued and invoiced. When customer receipted, he found there are 2 Grid Values which are wrong (678 - 3 Qty and 738 - 3 Qty), and the actual Grid Value is 758 (6 Qty)
Then user created a return order with Grid Values 678 and 758, they didn't post this return order, because once posted this return order, then they need to find a way to change the Grid Value to 758.
Solution Analysis and Recommendations
(Include Screen Shots if required)
By analyzing we came to know that changes can be made to grid value, for sales order in transaction /AFS/MDC but the disadvantage is that the changes will not reflect in the delivery document and invoice.
Go to t code /afs/mdc

Click quick order selection push button below screen will be appear and flag the sales order number and
hit the enter.

Go to changes push button

Below screen will be displayed.
Here you can change the grid value from old value to new value and select All sales order.
And Execute or press F8 button and below screen will be displayed in which the grid value is been changed.
Now you can go to T code VA03 and there you will find the grid value has been changed.
Resolution
Though the grid value could be changed at the sales order level, it is not the ideal solution for the problem we have. You can proceed with the return order and return credit memo without need to change the grid values.
This will reconcile the inventory.
